On October 10, 2025, the International Scientific and Practical Conference of the BRICS+ Association of Research and Educational Centers (Consortium) — "BRICS Global Dynamics: Moscow Club Report" — was held at the Faculty of Global Studies at Moscow State University as part of the VIII International Scientific Congress "Global Studies."
The event was dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the authoritative "Moscow Club Report" entitled "BRICS Global Dynamics."
The conference focused on an in-depth analysis of the key trends, strategic prospects, and potential of the BRICS+ countries, which are confidently emerging as among the most important centers of global economic, political, scientific, and technological influence.

The event was moderated by Ilya Vyacheslavovich Ilyin, Dean of the Faculty of Global Studies at Moscow State University and Chairman of the Organizing Committee. He noted that in today's turbulent international environment, it is the BRICS+ countries that are demonstrating high development dynamics and proposing alternative models for a multipolar world order.
Leading scholars, diplomats, and political analysts from the BRICS countries and states that share its approaches participated in the expert discussion:
  • Igor Khalevinsky (Russia), Chairman of the Council of the Association of Russian Diplomats, emphasized the importance of the diplomatic dimension of BRICS and its role in shaping a new international security architecture.
  • Professor Daniel Barreiro (Brazil) from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro presented a perspective on the historical preconditions for the emergence of a multipolar world.
  • Alexander Ageyev (Russia), member of the Club of Rome and Director of the Institute of Economics of the Russian Academy of Sciences, focused on the economic and cyclical forecasts underlying the report.
  • Professor Sanjay Kumar Pandey of Jawaharlal Nehru University and Rector of Aurora University Srilata Chepure presented a perspective from India, discussing the role of academic collaboration and human capital in strengthening BRICS+.
  • Professor Liu Yi (China), Director of the Institute of Global Studies at Shanghai University, shared China's perspective on global governance challenges.
  • Rasigan Maharaj (South Africa), a member of the Valdai Club, highlighted the African vector in BRICS strategy and its significance for the continent's development.
  • Professor Nurul Hidaya (Indonesia) presented the perspective of ASEAN countries, which are increasingly engaging with the group.
  • Professor Yuri Sayamov (Russia), Head of the UNESCO Department at the Faculty of Public Administration at Moscow State University, summarized the discussion in the context of the global challenges facing humanity.
Conference participants agreed that further strengthening cooperation within BRICS+ in the areas of economics, technology, education, and security is not just a trend, but an objective necessity for stable and equitable development in the 21st century.
