If the specified letter is not in Russian, it is also required to submit a translation of the letter into Russian certified by a notary.

A notarized translation can be made in the country where an applicant received the documents. However, if necessary, at the request of the admission committee the applicant will need to provide a new translation of the document, notarized by a Russian notary or consulate of the Russian Federation.
